There is a lot to say about this photograph.
I like the fact that there are two layers: the one with the tree as main subject and the other with the London's Eye.
This brings to my second point. The tree with the shining heart gives the photo instantly a warmer glow. That is a beautiful contrast with the sky.
Although the the tree hasn't got leaves, I immediately get the feeling that Spring is coming up. A furture to look forward to.
To conclude, a cold day absoutely can bring a marvelous photograph to live with the right angle.
