I'm not dead, just too busy

Maybe you've noticed that I haven't been around for a while. And that's not going to change any time soon :/ You know, real life stuff, like uni projects, moving out, looking for a storage, and those fun one's like planning my birthday, planning my summer holiday (I'm thinking Turkey 
), etc. But somewhere around July, I should start uploading again, on regular basis, renew my Premium Membership so I can start writing crits again and make my digital portfolio. But, until then I'll upload some stuff that I made before but didn't really have a chance to. Like today Stay tuned

BIG TIME! What is it that sucks? The fact that majority of points that I got through donations and used them to get me premium membership WERE STOLEN.. Yup, fucking stolen. So the guys from dA refunded my premium membership, took what was theirs and gave me my 40 points back.. And I really thought someone liked my work very much

InfoGraphics Project - Candy ^^

Hello everyone
How are You doin'? ( Joey style of course, and now all of you are blushing and falling in love with this entry )So, today I am writing about candy, which should satisfy ( and make droll ) 99% of you, because it's CANDY! Actually, I am going to write about a project that is about candy, but that's the same. And because candy is sweet ( most of the times ), I also picked this really sweet bunny theme. Bunnies and candy- a joy that money can't buy. Well, to be fair, it can, because it can buy bunnies and candy, and then you get the joy of having bunnies and candy, and... where was I? Oh, the project... Right.
It's my first week at Info Graphics Pathway and I've got a new project to work on, which always brings excitement (phase 1), hard work (phase 2), overworking (phase 3), feeling lost because of phase 3(phase 4) , then procrastinating (phase 5) which is because of phase 4, which turns into guilt (phase 6), and then you get struck by adrenalin rush feat. inspiration feat. all the subject knowledge you gathered feat. creativity (phase 7) which brings you to your final outcome that you (a) feel so proud of that you want to show off to everyone you know ( and to those you don't, but you don't want to be mistaken for a creep ) or (b) set it on fire and walk away.
For any of you that might still be reading this ( because I keep drifting away from the subject every two lines, and it's a bit annoying ) the project is about classifying a collection of stuff by using the LATCH system. LATCH stands for:
L-ocation
A-lphabetical
T-ime
C-ategory
H-ierarchy
Magical, isn't it? So I made a little collection of candy. I have 140 different pieces which I got from those cinema candy shops, 99p store and China Town. Oh yeah, I went to China Town to get me some Chinese candy. Variety, dude. Variety. Key to success.
I need to pick 3 out of these 5 criteria and make 3 A2 landscape posters. That's as far as we are told. It's either going to be L, C, & H, or A, C, H. Category is a pretty easy part, I just need to pick one category, like colour, shape, transparency, flavour, texture... And so is Hierarchy. The tricky part is Location. If I go by geographical origins, it's going to be pretty boring, since nowadays almost everything is made in China. But I can also do it like a world map of candy- where was each kind of candy invented...at least at which continent,because I don't believe I would be able to find all the info I need. If you have any thoughts on this LET ME KNOW
It might be the crucial part of my project, you never know. Why don't you tell me what kind of candy is your favourite? That might be helpful as well

) of candy from your country. Preferably something that was made there. But,basically anything goes I will be happy to send you a post-card (or some candy. seriously) back, and I won't forget to mention you when I upload my posters on dA.It would mean a world to me. It really would. Any candy that you feel like sending should be sent by the end of this week, so I have enough time to include it in my final outcome, since it's a 2 (3) week project. I will be forever grateful

Falling In Love With Photography

As you may have noticed ( and I'm sure you have, since I've been flooding your inboxes with new deviations almost every day ) I've got me a new camera ^^ So if you're not happy with me 'spamming' you with my photos there are 2 guys to blame:
my dad who gave me the money to indulge myself, and the photographer, whose art I appreciate very much,
, who helped me choose the right camera ^^ So, let me introduce you to a few photos I took with my new Canon EOS Kiss X3
Just so we're all on the same page here, I don't consider myself a photographer just because I bought a good camera. I barely have any experience in photography and any tips or feedback on my 'work' is very,very welcome. So, to people who practice photography : Go ahead and criticize the hell out of me, and I'll be happy I'm learning by trial and error, and I hope to improve my skills. So bring it on
The other thing you might have noticed is my new watermark. I got kinda annoyed by the dA one, and even some of my submissions to the certain groups were rejected because of it, so I created my own. Here it is, in all its glory :
The 'logo' itself was created over a year ago and it took me quite a while to come up with it, but I'm pretty happy when I see it now. I wanted it to have that 'organic' and natural look so I used the brush instead of pencil or something more precise. Also, I wrote my name and the dA address with American Typewriter font to balance its flow with some straighter and steadier lines ( and I also adore typewriter-style fonts ^^ )
